Hi,

I have a Dlink DI-704P router which was working few days ago and now not
working. I try to reset the router and tried to run the setup wizard via IE
http://192.168.0.1 and not opening the webpage.

Looks like router is not reseting to the factory defaults.

Thsi router is connected to a dlink modem to the adsl internet. Modem is
working ok when connected directly to the PC.
So the adsl modem is working ok.

I need to findout if the router is ok or damaged.

Thansk for our help.

Sounds like a defective router. The nic must be good if it works off the
modem. The only other possibility is if the routers ip address has changed,
and if you've properly reset the unit to default, must be a bad unit

Thanks for your advice, as you said it loks like a router problem - bad
unit.
