cant print

I have home network where the pc is running XP and my
Laptop is running windows98. The problem is I could
access the internet through a wirless connection to a
2wire router that connects both computer on the network,
but I cant print. The printer gives me a massege that the
printer is not communicating with Laptop the quastion is
this a wirless issue or is it xp vs. 98 conflict. Please
what needs to done. I Thank you in advance.
