I've set up a peer-to-peer home network via a CAT6 crossover cable, with a
Windows XP machine as the host and a Windows ME machine as the client. After
hours of tweaking, I've finally got everything working, with one exception: I
can't print from the client PC to the printer attached to the host PC. I can
see the networked printer in the client's printers folder, but when I send a
file to that printer, nothing happens. And nothing appears in the print
queue. None of the troubleshooting suggestions in Windows ME Help were of
use. Any ideas?

Did you install the printer drivers on the Windows ME computer? Without the
proper pirnter drivers on the Windows ME computer, printing to that printer
won't work. If you have done so, my apologies; but you did not say that you
had done this.

Yes, I did install the printer drivers on the ME machine. I was prompted to
do so when I added the networked printer.
