Are you using autosense on your NIC on this server? Try locking it down at a
specific speed/duplex setting - start with 10/half, test, and see what you
can get it to work with from there.
Note - you'd be better off investing in an Ethernet switch than a hub - even
an inexpensive one. It would give you a lot better performance.
