Hi,
Can you check that you assigned the right subnet mask and IP address range
to your computer.
Another thing to check is ARP table on your server that can't ping the
gateway. After you try to ping it run this on the computer
arp -a
Now check if you see IP address and MAC address of your gateway in the list.
Another test to do. Can you ping the server from your gateway.
