Can't open two of the same ports

I'm trying to open ports 6112-6119 both TCP and UDP for
two IP addresses on my network. The first one works
fine, but when I press "Apply" to open the ports again
for the second IP address, the page refreshes as if I had
done nothing; none of the ports for the second IP address
open.

I've reset the router a few times, and I have the latest
firmware. It's a MN-500. Both the IP addresses that I'm
trying to open are hardwired.

I'm probably missing something really simple. Thanks for
the help.

You can only persistent port forward to one address. This is because
everything that is sent to that port is forwarded to that address. This
is a limitation of NAT.

Darn alright, and I also just read that you when you use
Port Triggering, the ports can only be open to one
computer at a time. Is there anyway to open the same
ports to two computer then?

Defy all the laws of computer science.

Also application triggered is only for when you send data on one port &
receive a response on a different port. Three examples are POP3, SMTP,
& FTP. All of which the Microsoft routers have support for already
built in.

If you want 2 or more computers to have access to the same port you are
going to have to purchase multiple IP address from your ISP & not use a
router.

That is assuming you want to use a router.
