The drive is an 80GB Western Digital USB 2.0 hard drive.
It is attached to a Windows XP home computer on a USB 1.1 port. (the drive
can use either 1.1 or 2.0)
The drive has no problems when accesed by my XP Pro laptop which is attached
to my network using 802.11b.

When trying to access or map the drive from my win 98se computer which is
attached to the network through my wired linksys router/switch I get a "not
enough memory" message. I have already mapped an internal 40GB drive in the
XP home machine to the win 98se computer without a problem.

Any advice would be welcome.

Larry

The problem may not be your Windows 98, it may be your XP computer. See
