can't logon toa dmin from my computer

I have a pretty new widnows server 2003 domains. A pdc and backup. I just
downloaded the 2003 admin and resource kit packs. How do I logon to my server
with these tools over my network? I ssee the domain listed but, I get failed
to connect messages. When I try to logon as my admin user on the domain I get
errors. When I go in from the admin user profile on the domian from my
computer I get local users only and active dir users will not work. What
should I do?
