There's no need to install anything on Win 98 to use a Linksys router.
You can configure the router by connecting to its built-in web server,
which is probably at
http://192.168.1.1. I don't know whether Xbox
Live requires you to install anything.
If you need the Win 98 disk for an installation, search the computer's
hard disk for files named "win*.cab". If you find them, point to the
folder that they're in when the system asks for the Win 98 disk.
