I recently had my computer cleaned of viruses and since I
got it back, the Windows logon window doesn't
automatically appear at startup. In order to get to my
desktop, I need to logoff and re-logon. I've tried
setting the autoadminlogon and defaultusernamd &
defaultpassword keys to my logon in the registry, and have
the Primary Network Logon set to MS Family Logon.

Ideas?

Change your logon type to Client for Microsoft Networks. Check the Registry
for an autologon key in this location and delete it if it exists:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\
Network\Real Mode Net
