Can't Get Laptop To Recognize MN-720

It is an old NEC Versa 2430CD. It recognizes my Megahertz
modem card but when I try to set it up to use the MN-720,
it can't recognize it.

When I try to install the MS software that came with the
card, it gets to the part where it starts the
configuration wizard and stops. It never gets past that
point.

Any ideas?

doubtful that computer has cardbus slots. reading the specs at
http://support.necsam.com/mobilesolu...00/2400OVW.ASP
it is far too old to support cardbus.

I'm having the same problem. I know the laptop supports
Cardbus, as the old ethernet adapter is a Xircom CardBus
card. Any suggestions?
