Can't get DSL Xtreme throughput

I can't get the 802.11b microsoft router to send the
3.0mb throughput that I should be getting. I have tryed
everything I know to do. I get the throughtput on the
other side of the router. any suggestions

What throughput are you getting? Is this wired or
wireless? How are you measuring it?

The Modem port tops at 10Mbps. When adding TCP/IP
overhead over a wireless, one only gets about 4-5Mbps of
actual data.
