Hi,
Story so far...
Coming to the end of a migration from NT4 to 2003, and now i want to change
from an NT4 DHCP server to one on a 2k3 machine.
I've copied the lease and config data from the NT4 server to the new one,
all fine. However when i turn off the old DHCP, clients cannot pick up
addreses from the new one, very frustrating.
The new DHCP is authorised.
We have 4 Vlans, with a diferent scope for each. The old server has serviced
all of these fine since it went in.
I've tried adding ip-helper services to the routers, no joy.

Can anyone advise where i'm going wrong? i'm assuming it's going to be a
simple setting somewhere (hopefully)

Thanks

Kam

Add the IP helper address of the new DHCP server to the VLAN switches?

Thanks for that Todd,

I've managed to fix the problem, i had a dhcp relay setup on the DHCP
server, which was rather silly of me. Removed that and all was well in the
world.
