Can't get Auto IP Addressing to Work

I have a Linksys Wireless PCMCIA ver. 3 card, which has been working just
fine for sometime, but after using my card in the Holiday Inn, using it's
skyriver option, I cant get my card to auto assign to the correct IP
address. I used to have something like 10.1.1.103 or 104 as my IP address
when I'm at home. I have a Linksys router that has DHCP enabled. I am now
getting IP addresses like 169.254.169.187.

Any ideas on what I should be looking for in my setup to get back to where I
was before using the skyriver option. I use encryption, but did not have to
have encryption turned on in the Hotel. I changed the ssid back to what it
was originally. I've changed the channel back to the one that all the other
clients use in my home, but I continue to get a bogus IP address. I have
also checked to make sure that Automatically assign IP address is checked in
TCP/IP for the wireless card. Any help would be appreciated.

Reads like DHCP isn't enabled on your AP... The 169.x.x.x is automatically
assigned by Windoze, when a DHCP server cannot be found... Force an IP in
the 10.1.1.x range you mentioned and log onto the AP to check its
configuration. The default Linksys range is more like 192.168.0.x or
192.168.100.x
