Are you running anti-virus while attempting to install?

I'm experiencing the same issue. I bought the MN-500 back
in November and got everything up and running in
20minutes. I went to update my WEP key today and I'm
unable to reconfigure the unit. Resets do not help. It
seems as if the unit can't connect to the internet to
complete the update. I know the account is good since I
can bypass the base unit and use my DSL modem directly.
The only virus SW installed is McAfee and it's disabled.
Any clues would be appreciated as I've already wasted 3
hours on this

Try temporarily uninstalling McAfee. It can be like Symantec products, and
not shut down when you "exit."
