well...I did try that...along with setting a static IP to no
avail....then I had a catastrophic HDD failure..the western dig.
diagnostics were unable to fix during an extended test so I'm taking
the drive into a local place to hopefully recover some of my personal
docs etc. The network probs were probably a precursor to something
more serious...excellent ! Luckily the laptop is functioning.
