Can't Edit IP Protocol on DC

I have Windows Server 2003 DC with NAT enabled. Recently,
I can't find the IP protocol properties. Under LAN or WAN
Connection Properties Tab, the only item I see is Client
for Microsoft Networks. The protocol configuration and IP
properties entries are all gone. Can someone tell me what
is going on? Thank you very much in advance.

Hi Wayne,

Can you check these:
- Under device manager check if you have working NIC
- in command line enter ipconfig (what is the result?)
- try using command line netsh to edit TCP/IP protocol settings...

Thank you, Mike, for the input. I do have two working NICs
and experience no connection problem through WAN or LAN.
ipconfig does return all ip information. It just bothers
me not being able to change the IP and DNS information
through IP protocol properties. I find it difficult to use
netsh. Would greatly appreciate it if I can get my
settings back. Thanks again.

OK. Can we check this?

Open Control Panel and look for Network Connections. Do you have this? Is
e.g. Local Area Connection inside?

Do you use Administrator or some other account to work on your server?

Yes. Local Area Connection is there. But as I said, when
getting into its properties, all I have is 'Client
for Microsoft Networks'. I have always been using this
admin account to work on the server. Is this the new way
Microsoft has for a Domain Controller? I am confused.

You mentioned you have two network cards. Do you use network teaming?
