Cant create trust between 2k3 domains

There was a thread hear some time ago on the same issue - their subjec
was "can't create trust to external domain" posted 10/11/05. The gu
fixed the issue himself before getting an full fix from the forum. H
said that when he did a domain trasfer of the _msdsc.blablabla zone i
fixed it. I dont know how to do that zone domain transfer to see i
that will fix my issue.

I have two independant 2k domains with 2k3 DCs running 2k3 functiona
level, 2k forrest level and an trying to create a trust of any typ
between them (pref a two way trans) but I get an error from one DC1dom
when I try to trust dom2 stating that the name specified is not a vali
windows domain name. From DC2dom2 I dont get the error - it appears t
want to let me create a trust from there to the other domain.

I have setup DNS on both domains and reference each others DNS a
secondary DNS in the network settings. I have also tried to set up
zone in each ones forward DNS for the others domain and IP - but it wa
no good, I still get the issue.

I am hoping that what the guy did with the transfering domain _msdcs..
zone will work if I can get someone to tell me how to do that...
