Can't connect with wireless card

I have a MN-610 wireless broadband networking kit including the wireless
adaptor (not via usb port). It has worked for years with no problem, one day
it doesn't work - nothing was changed on the laptop.

I brought home a different laptop from work and that computer picks up the
wireless connection at home so it's not the base station. I took my laptop
to work and it picks up the wireless connection there so the wireless adaptor
works.

My laptop does not show any wireless networks from home. Not even the
secured networks form neighbours. I know there are other networks close by
but nothing shows on the list. When list is refreshed it states "no wireless
networks in range".

I sit next to the wireless base and still nothing. So it's not the antanae.

Pure frustration...please help!!!
