Hi.
This is a case that is pulling my hair out:
We have a SBS2000 based domain behind a SonicWall, we have one SBS2000
server (DC) and two member server (w2k). A real simple network.
When we remotely connect with a SonicWall VPN client, we can't connect to
the DC.
We can not Ping, Windows Browsing, and not RDP. But we can do all this to
every of the other servers..???.
I think this accured after some Security updates...

I have not enabled the RAS on the server, I suppose that when using a third
party VPN solution this was not necessary...

Regards Frank

Frank,
I sounds like an IP routing problem.
Check that the default gateway on the offending server has the IP address of
your Sonicwall. Use the command Route print on the server and check that you
have a route to the Sonicwall for your VPN subnet.

Regards Wendel.
