Does anyone know why???? i have a machine that contains outlook and i am
pointing to the exchange server that is located in the HQ however i am able
to connect sometimes and it would disconnect the other times and i cant
figure out why is this happening keep in mind that i have internet connection
at all times so that is not the issue it is only the outlook connectivity to
Exchange server that is breaking. Any ideas out there it will be greatly
appreciated.

How are you connected to HG? Are you in a remote office and there is a VPN
in place?

If so, what speed is the link between the offices?

I assume you are talking about Outlook MAPI client using Exchange (not IMAP4
or POP3).

What version of Outlook? What version of Exchange? If Outlook 2003 and
Exchange 2003, you can use Cached Mode.

Are you using RPC over HTTPS?

What steps have you tried to troubleshoot it so far?
