Can't Add TCP/IP for Netgear MA311 Wireless PCI Card

I installed the Netgear MA311 wireless network card. All
of the setup appears correct but I can't reach the
internet. What looks suspicious to me is that I don't see
the TCP/IP settings under Control Panel/ Networking for
the Netgear card (the adapter shows up, just not the
TCP/IP protocol underneath it.) TCP/IP is there for
adapters previously added. I tried to Add TCP/IP protocol
for the Netgear adapter but it doesn't work. I've even
tried the IPDetect utility off of Microsoft's website.
That said it detected TCP/IP and showed all was OK.

I am stumped. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you might be up against the Win98 limit of 6 TCP/IP instances,
especially since you mention adapters previously added. Count how many
"TCP/IP->{adapter}" entries you have. If you already have 6, you'll have to
remove one of them (probably have to remove an obsolete adapter) before you
can add one for TCP/IP->MA311.
