Sounds like you might be up against the Win98 limit of 6 TCP/IP instances,
especially since you mention adapters previously added. Count how many
"TCP/IP->{adapter}" entries you have. If you already have 6, you'll have to
remove one of them (probably have to remove an obsolete adapter) before you
can add one for TCP/IP->MA311.
