I have windows XP home installed on a laptop.

I can see my wireless network when I view all wireless connections, but the
system is not letting me connect to the network. It attempts to connect, and
then just times out. (I have another computer which can access the network
without an issue.)

Furthermore, I cannot disable the wireless network. (I have been trying to
"restart" the connection. When I try to disable, I get the following error:

"It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connections
may be using one or more protocols that do not support plug-and -play, or it
may have been initiated by another user or the system account."

Any suggestions to remedy this issue would be greatly appreciated.
