Can't access internet

My laptop with Me used to be able to access the internet
through my wireless router without problems.
Now when I open IE there is no response when requesting
websites.
I checked the configuration and the laptop appears to
communicate with the router and is getting correct IP
address via DHCP server. I can ping the router/gateway
with response.
There are no software firewalls installed.

Any suggestions? Would a rogue program do this? When I see
the current running applications via ctrl-alt-del, there
is one called "motmon" and another called "icbabe" that I
don't think are windows native programs.

I also tried the laptop connected to the router via
ethernet and the same thing happens. My other PC running
WP-home runs IE fine. This is connected via ethernet to
router.

I have used system restore and was able to connect to the
internet for about an hour and then it stopped connecting
again.

Get and run adaware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/) or spybot
(http://www.safer-networking.org/inde...=en&page=start. A spy
program may be causing this problem.
