open Internet explorer - tools - internet options- connections tab - lan
settings
Are all the ticks removed?? If not, try removing them, alos in the
connections tab, make sure its set to never dial.
Have you set up the gateway bit in lan tcp/ip settings???

Gareth

the pc's).

out how to do.

Chris,

power down all pcs and then switch the 504 off for a couple of minutes. When
it comes back up, power up your pcs and you should be able to get to it.
You original post said you were just typing in the ip address. Bit dumb, but
you are putting in the "http://" before it aren't you?

Let us know if this fixes it

Cheers,Mike

yep, had the http.
had to telnet in and reset it back to factory condition in the end.
powering down both the pcs and router might have been a good idea though.

grrr, its done it again. seems to be everytime i go in and change some
config.
I disabled port redirection this time, saved and restarted then after that
couldnt access it via the browser again.
tried powering - down didnt work, had to return it to the default config
again via telnet
