Hey!
After finally getting my Microsoft router to work,
connect to the Internet and recognize the other members
of the network, I'm now having trouble with accessing
desktop files from the laptops. I have two laptops (MS
Windows 2000 Professional) with MS Wireless-G cards in
them. These connect to the base station wirelessly,
whilst the Windows XP Home desktop connects via Ethernet
cable to the router, which is connected to the modem via
Ethernet.
The problem is that although I can access files between
laptops or access laptop files from a desktop, I just
can't seem to access some folders such as 'Program Files'
or more importantly 'My Documents' Whenever I do, it
says 'Access is Denied'. After speaking to Microsoft
technical support for hardware, Windows XP and Windows
2000 for at least 3 hours, I came up with no answer. If
anyone has a solution for this PLEASE tell me!
