Cannot setup WEP with MN-520 on Win2K?

It looks like I can setup just about every other parameter
with the driver for the MN-520, *except* WEP. Am I looking
in the wrong place?

I have Windows 2K Pro installed on my laptop. I downloaded
the driver from the MS Broadband site, and installed it.
Windows recognizes the card, and when I change the SSID to
my local SSID, the card stops "searching". However, I
cannot connect to my network, as my base station has 64-bit
WEP enabled. However, I cannot find an option in the
MN-520 driver properties to setup WEP.

Is this one of the "mysterious" limitations of using the
MN-520 with Win2K?

To have Windows configure the WEP key for your NIC you need to be
running at least Windows XP. Otherwise you will need the broadband
networking software to configure WEP seeing as no Microsoft OS before
Windows XP was configured to allow you to include that setting.

Well, I found my CD, so I can now setup WEP.

Maybe one of the MS experts here can answer me this: Why,
when my Belkin WAP is *right next* to my MN-520, Windows2K
takes a few minutes to find my SSID when I configure it in
the "Broadband Networking Configure" dialog? Yet,
the "MSHOME" SSID of my neighbor appears in the list RIGHT
AWAY?

Very interesting, if you ask me...
