cannot select network with network monitor

hi everybody,

I try run network monitor under windows 2003 and when I select the network
"local area connection", I get the error message "the specified network is
invalid 00508df3e9d2 error 0x80040005"

I just reinstalled it the day before and the network is running well

do you known what is wrong ?
