NetBEUI has nothing to do with Internet access, and nothing in Windows
networking requires NetBEUI. Unless you have a specific need for it,
remove it.
If you have a firewall program, make sure that it's properly
configured to allow the types of network access that you want.
Without any information about your network, it's hard to say what the
problem is. If you'll post another message with details, someone can
probably help. Useful information would include:
1. What type of Internet connection you have (cable, DSL, etc).
2. Whether you connect directly to the Internet or through a broadband
router.
3. Your computer's TCP/IP settings: IP address, subnet mask, default
gateway, DNS servers.
4. Whether your computer can ping itself and other network computers
by IP address.
5. Whether your computer can ping itself and other network computers
by computer name.
6. Etc.
