Cannot see machines in network neighbourhood

I have a VPN setup between 2 sites. Each site has a WINS server setup (using
win2003 R2) and replicate between each other. The PCs cannot see other
machines in network neighbourhood other than the ones locally ie. they cannot
see the PCs at the other site. They can ping them ok using both name and IP.

Netbios over TCP/IP has been enabled on the wins servers and the replication
between the WINS servers is working ok. Any ideas?

Any help would be most appreciated ...
