Hi Clement,
Make sure that the VPN connection is set to use the domain's DNS servers in
the VPN connection's TCP/IP configuration settings. That should get you
name resolution to the remote network.
However it may not populate in your Network Neighborhood until after you've
specifically connected to the remote hosts by name directly.
Your HOSTS and LMHOSTS files will probably not be much help.
