Sorry for the repost, but I really need an answer. If there is no response

Hi All,
I am running Win98SE. I have another computer running Win98SE and that
files that I constantly use. I have that folder shared with full access. I
restart my computer and it says something like cannot connect would you like
to try again the next time you reboot. I say Yes. I restart, sometimes it
works, sometimes it doesn't (IN WINDOWS).
I have a program that runs in a DOS window. It also uses that shared folder.
When I reboot, the mapped drive never connects. I always have to
double-click on the windows mapped drive, then open my DOS program.
Am I missing something? Is there a setting to automatically connect in
Windows and be accessable in a DOS window?
TIA
Chad
