Cannot launch Internet explorer after connecting my Router

The Internet Explorer works fine with my modem, but when
I connect the Router Netgear, Internet explorer cannot be
launched. It is giving the error message that it "Cannot
the server". The connection is there but I cannot browse
the internet.

Can anybody help please?
