Cannot join domain 2003 srv via VPN

Hello Everyone !

I installed a workstation XPpro on local and joined a
domain 2003 without a problem. I moved this machine but
failed to connect to the domain 2003 via VPN. However, I
can see the server folders via http://@ip\c$ .

Do I have to create lmhost file ? If so, what do I have
to put in ?

You shouldn't need an LMHOSTS file (or a hosts file for that matter).
Does the client have the correct DNS server address and the correct DNS
suffix? Can you resolve the LAN machines by name using nslookup? When this
works, you should be able to browse the LAN machines using net view
\\machineneme and map files using net use .
