Hello,

I am trying to build openh323 and getting the following error. I
searched for the library lpt_linux_x86_r , but its not on the linux
box. Please let me know importance of this library and can I disable
linking with this library..I truly appreciate your help.

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.6/../../../../i386-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld:
cannot find -lpt_linux_x86_r
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [/root/openh32/lib/libh323_linux_x86_r.so.1.18.0] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/openh323_v1_18_0/src'
make[1]: *** [opt] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/openh323_v1_18_0'
make: *** [optshared] Error 2

Thanks,
DS

Well, libpt_linux_x86_r comes as part of pwlib, which is listed as
requirement for openh323 on www.openh323.org.

Very unlikely...Simply install the missing "devel" package.

$ rpm -qf /usr/lib/libpt_linux_x86_r.so
pwlib-devel-1.9.2-1

Good luck
