cannot create new connection in windows xp

Hello!
I'm not sure if this is the right place, if not, please direct me to the
right group.

I'm using a PPPoE ADSL connection and I have set my IE on alway dial my
connection which allows me to auto connect every time I open IE.
I was also able to manual connect by clicking on ISP shortcut Until couple
days ago I wouldn't any longuer do manual connect.
I was still able to auto connect openning IE.

I try to create a new connection following kb/283070

Create a PPPoE client connection

1.Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network and
Internet Connections.
2.Click Network Connections, and then click Create a new connection in the
Network Tasks pane.
3.After the Network Connection Wizard starts, click Next.
4.Click Connect to the Internet, and then click Next.

By clicking on Next, Nothing happens. It's stuck and not allows me to the
next page
5.Click Set up my connection manually, and then click Next.

I did a repair install of windows XP pro SP2 but still same problem. I have
my XP up2date.

Can anyone help me?
