Cannot Connect to Wireless Router

Hi there how are you? I have a laptop installed Windows 2000 on it Sp4
and I can't get my usb wireless key (IO-Data WN-B11) to connect on the
windows 2000. For some reason I don't know how to set it up, I tried
googling and tried some of the things there but nothing has helped. It
sends packets but does not receive. I thought it might be the USB key so
I tried it on a pc and it worked perfectly fine there but this PC had
windows xp installed on it. I would install xp if not for the lack of
speed and ram on this laptop....Any help would be greatly appreciated.
