Firstly, forget about connecting wirelessly just connect with the cable.
Have you configured the router? Your written or on-screen instructions will
tell you how but a common way is to go into Internet Explorer and type the
address 192.168.1.1. You will need to input your broadband user account
name and password. That is usually all that is necessary.
Having done that now try to connect wirelessly. That could take a while
longer!
