Cannot connect to AP

I set up the wireless network successfully with my laptop computer and AP.
One day, I could not connect to AP suddenly. I checked the wireless network
was switched manual instead of automatic. I do not know how to change back
to automatic and just delete the network and add a new one. Then it works
back on. After about 1-2 months, it happened again but I repeat above and
works back again. Can someone advise me possible causes to change to manual
from automatic and how to switch back to automatic apart from deleting it
and adding it back. I am using Windows XP SP3.

Hi
Control Panel/Network Connections, right click on the Wireless connector,
there is a Wireless Network tab, it menus help in managing the Wireless.
