I can no longer browse my network places. We have Windows 2000 & 2003
servers using AD. The error message I get when I click on the domain
name is: <domain> is not accessible. You might not havde permission to
use this network. Contact the administrator of this server to find out
if you have acess permissions. The list of servers for this workgroup
is not currently available. I have have not made any changes to the
network. I have checked the logs and I did not see anything related to
this problem. Any ideas.

Thanks.

sounds like name resolution or master browser issues. I would use nslookup to check the DNS status and browstat to check the master browser status. also check this page,

Check the cables/connectors/nics. Not everything is a Windows problem.

It looks like DNS is working OK. I am having some trouble getting the
browstat command to work. Might be a browser issue.

the issue is with your master browser. If you are native AD and not using
Samba to emulate WINS, the Domain Controller holding your PDC Emulator FSMO
is usually the master browser, assuming it is running WINS. Search the WINS
database for all references to this DC and verify that the IP address is
correct within WINS. Also verify that the record for Domain Master Browser
(for your NetBIOS domain name) is pointing to the IP address of this server
as well.

Also many networks like to have an unusually high number of WINS servers
(usually installed on every box running DNS, DHCP, etc).....if you have 10+
WINS servers you are likely causing yourself issues with WINS replication,
try to cut back on the number of WINS Servers if possible
