hi,

I cannot access to my AccessPOint ( Michelangelo Wave B ).

If I try with open connection it works.
If i try with WEP or WPA-PSK it doesn't.

WPA supplicant should be ok 'cause I can access to other wifi nets.

Any help?

here is my log file:
/var/log$ tail -f wpa_supplicant.log
Trying to associate with 00:04:ed:55:d2:63 (SSID='linuxsys' freq=2412 MHz)
Association request to the driver failed
Associated with 00:04:ed:55:d2:63
Authentication with 00:04:ed:55:d2:63 timed out.
CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED - Disconnect event - remove keys

Doesn't this rather suggest that your AP is not configured with any
security?

Try connecting with WEP. You don't need wpa_supplicant for that.

Check that your key(s) are correct.

Check that your wireless router is properly configured and all entered
data is correct.

Are you trying to connect manually or automatically? If automatically,
try doing it manually, one command at a time.

When your connection attempt fails, what do ifconfig and iwconfig report?

What distro are you using? What computer? What wireless card? Etc.?
