I just got a Linksys BEFSR81v3 router and afer putting in my static IP
info and tweaking a few settings for QoS, I upgraded using the latest
firmware from Linksys. After the upgrade, the page went blank and I
have been unable to get back to it. I was using Firefox in a Windows
WP Home machine at the time and it was connected directly to the
router. Luckily, my settings stayed such that I can access the
internet. But how can I access the configuration page (192.168.2.1)?
I also tried access thru Konqueror in a Linux machine I have connected.

Hmmm...

I have a BEFSR81 and it uses 192.168.1.1 NOT 192.168.2.1 as its home adddress.

The solution turned out to be as simple as unplugging it and replugging
after 30 seconds. The flashing of the new firmware didn't take but at
least I still have a working router.

Dont use the update firmware page, Use the FTTP software on the download
page at linksys.com
