Hello,

I am stuck with a problem in setting up VPN on my machine. I have a
Windows 2003 server that is connected to a Netgear MR814 router which
goes out to a DSL connection. I have DHCP enabled on the connection.

I use Secu Remote to connected with two VPNs (which secu Remote
allows). Further, because of some problems at one VPN end, I have set
my router to pick up from a pool different than the default pool of IP
Addresses (I could not link to one of the VPNs till I did that).

Now my problem is that, while I link successfully to both networks
simultaneously, the moment I get SecuRemote running my access to
internet goes.

All searches tell me that I should disable the 'use default gateway'
option. But I am yet to locate that option on the Windows 2003 server.

I would be glad if someone could give me pointers in this direction.

Thanks
Ritu

use default gateway in remote network is for Windows VPN client. In your case, you may need to modify the routing table.

routing issues on vpn Can't access the remote network after unchecking "Use default gateway on Remote ... Or check "Use default gateway on Remote Network" on VPN connection. ...

Thanks Bob,

Could you give some pointers on what kind of modifications one needs to
make to the routing table?
