I am using Win XP and have a WLAN router which establishs the internet
connection. I can acces the internet via the WLAN if I am
administrator, however, as an ordinary user without admin rightd I
can not use the wlan connection (it is switches off when I log in as
an ordinary user). Where can I allow all users to use the wlan
connection?

Thanks for your help!
Dirk

You need software update, contact the vendor of your WLAN card.

Are you using 3rd party software (non-microsoft software) to connect to the
wireless network? If this is the case, you may need to get an updated
version of your software from the 3rd party vendor.

I have the same problem w/ win2k Pro and a motorola wpci 810 card. A desktop
and a laptop and have tried the driver updates, making sure the card is
running as a system service and giving everybody full control of the motorola
software (including each individual file)and none of that worked so the
problem is not as simple as a software update. I have even tried a fresh
install with no security updates and loosening up some security settings all
to no avail. On my systems there is something in eather windows or motorola
software that refuses to allow a normal user access to the radio feature in
the software.
