can I use the MN-500 as just a wi/fi repeater?

I am wondering if I can use the Microsoft MN-500 wireless
base station as just a signal repeater for my current
wi/fi network? I am using one PC in my house that gets a
week signal and I want to set this unit up as a repeater
to boost my currnet wi/fi network into that poor
reception area. Dose any one know if this can be done
with this unit. If so how?

It either needs to be wired back to the first unit, or
needs to use a hack like the XBox wireless adapter. In my
opinion, it is better to get a real repeater, unless it's
really easy to wire them together.
