Can two MN-500 wireless base stations communicate wirelessly?

I still need help. I have successfully put BS2 into
bridging mode. Now I need it to work wirelessly.

The following configuration is working well...

Internet-----CM-----BS1-----BS2-----C1

I need to eliminate
this cable
(The one between BS1 and BS2)
It goes out of the BS2 modem port and into the BS1
Ethernet port 1

CM = Cable Modem
BS1, BS2 = Base Station 1 and 2
C1 = Computer 1

I guess the real question is can MN-500 communicate
wirelessly through it's modem port or only through it's
four ethernet ports.

Please reply ASAP.

Thank you,

Unfortunately, the two MN500's need to be connected via a wire.
They will not communicate wirelessly

Thank you very much for your reply.

Microsoft should include this information on the box or
in the instructions. On page 6 of the online Base
Station Setup Guide it states that two base stations can
be bridged to extend an existing wireless network. They
could save people alot of time by being more up front
about thier products capabilities.

Are there any wireless routers that can be wirelessly
uplinked through a wireless WAN/Modem/Uplink port?

This is what I learned. It seems ridiculous that MS
doesn't sell a product like this for PC s.

Quote from MS tech support...
----------------------------------
However you do have an option to go wirelessly with the
help of MN740 (Xbox wireless adapter).
In order to configure this adapter, you need to use an
Xbox, since the adapter by default is set in Adhoc mode
and it has to reconfigured to infrastructure mode to use
it in the router environment.

You could get the aid of your vendor to configure the
adapter, if possible
