Setup a network using 2 PC attach with a router Linksys. Directly connect
the printer(lexmark3300) to the PC ruinning XP. From the other PCwith Win
98 I can`t see the printer. Sharing file and printer are enable on both
machine. From Win98 in Network neigborhood I don`t see the printer. Not
sure what I`m missing.

Thanks
Michel

If the printer name is longer than 12 characters or has unusual characters
(like a space) in the share name, Windows 98 won't see or connect to it.
Change the share name to something short and simple.

Make sure that the printer's share name isn't longer than 12
characters, and use only letters and numbers in its share name.
