Can surf, CANT FIND WORKGROUP!

This seems to be an intermittent problem.

I have a computer using XP Home that CAN find the workgroup IF
connected via cat5 but cannot if going wireless. I CAN surf without
any problem. This is really confusing!

Make sure that you have Client for Microsoft Networks AND Windows File
and Printer Sharing listed under your Wireless Connection's
properties. If not install them.

My guess is that this will correct your issue. Otherwise, check your
router to make sure that Wireless stations can talk to LAN stations.
Sometimes routers block this traffic by default.
