Can I set up a server from my PC using Demon ADSL

When I was a Freeserve ADSL customer I set up a webserver from my PC.
Is it possible to do the same on Demon's ADSL service? I ask the
quesion as a pal who was on NTL found the ports were blocked there -
can anyone advise please? Thanks

I used to be on NTL, and I was able to serve on port 80 for three years,
no prob. Perhaps your pal was confused.
