I would like to restrict a group of users from being able to logon to more
than one machine at a time.
i.e. User A logs onto machine A then wanders into another room and logs into
machine B. User B comes along and sits at machine A which is logged in as
user A and abuses the system.
How do get windows to allow only one logon so that when user A tries to log
into machine B it prompts that the user is already logged into another
machine?

I'm presuming you're using AD....

That's where the following links / scripts will help -

....and that's where they won't help a bit. This is a separate issue and
should also be addressed. Set up group policy to enforce password-protected
screensavers that kick in after X minutes of idle time - and make sure
you've got a good password policy in use on the domain.
